A lovely performance bike. With the iconic looks of a stylish Road bike, and a total package that can compete with premium carbon bikes.


Our goal was to create a bike that is quickly ride ready, with a standard price reachable for those looking at an average carbon/high performance bike. To make this possible (lightweight, factory bike price level and Klaassen style) we had to make subtle concessions to our normal visual standard with just a little less smoothened welds and a few more decals on some parts. But all in all still recognizable as a Klaassen, with tons of performance, and much character and style.

LIGHTWEIGHT FRAME

Special tubing and high tech welding leads to a very light alu frame. Only 150-200 grams heavier than an 'average' carbon frame. So due to the fact aluminum is cheaper than carbon we win those grams back easily with better components, which also are a major factor in ride experience.

PAINTED BY HAND

We work with a paintshop specialized in painting bikes, located in the Netherlands and founded by the former paint quality officer of the famous big Dutch bike brands.
We have extra custom options available. A customer once asked to design a 3D decal of the number 13 on the top tube....

NOVATEC JETFLY WHEELS

The RaceLight comes standard with the lovely Novatec Jetfly wheels. Wheels proven as test winner (also see picture). Tubeless ready. With only 1450 grams a beautifull combination of light, strong and looks (nice depth/height).

HOW DO WE WORK

intake-custom bike, handgemakte gravelbike

INTAKE

We discuss colors, we do a thorough measurement of your body (when abroad a professional bikefit output is a workaround), we finalize the package of groupset and wheels.

PAINT

Your frame will be send to the  paintshop specialized in bike frames, after an inspection by Freek Klaassen.

BUILD OFF

When your frameset is back from the paintshop we enter the final stage of your build, the build off to a ride ready  bike. All parts will be mounted and the icing on the cake is the leather finish.
